Overview

Axi Recruitment is working with an established law firm in Hull for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their experienced Conveyancing Department.

Job Details

  • Deal with clients in person and on the telephone.
  • Respond to correspondence, produce emails and letters to clients and third parties.
  • Open new files.
  • Send terms of engagement and estimates of fees and disbursements.
  • Prepare contract packs.
  • Prepare completion statements, cashier instructions for repaying charges, and pay the estate agent's fees.
  • Prepare transfer and mortgage deeds.
  • Deal with the registration of client and lender with the Land Registry.
  • File and maintain all storage records, and enter onto the database.

Experience

  • Experience in a conveyancing role within a law firm is desirable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to undertake multiple tasks similtaneously.
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • 35 hours per week, 9am - 5pm.
