Overview

Axi Recruitment is currently supporting a business in East Yorkshire for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to company growth. This role would suit an QS looking to take a step up in their career into a senior position.

Job Details

• Estimate quantities, costs and timescales for material and labour.
• Prepare tender and contract documents.
• Identify and weigh up commercial risks.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts and expenditure statements.
• Liaise with clients to identify their needs.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control.
• Discuss project progress, costs, and any issues that may arise.
• Assign work to subcontractors.

Experience

• Groundworks experience is desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to lead and manage commercial aspects of projects.
• Confidence in managing variation accounts, pricing, and agreements.
• Experience with monthly valuations and CVRs.
