Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Overview

Axi Recruitment is working with a growing supply chain organisation in Selby for a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role will be to assist with the management of the Finance Department, with the opportunity to develop within the team.

Job Details

  • Accurately manage daily and month end stock records.
  • Assist with VAT returns and month end accounts.
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties.
  • Deal with employee and customer finance queries.
  • Record weekly market pricing from suppliers.
  • Input sales and purchase order invoices onto company accounting software.
  • Process customer orders and place orders with suppliers.

Qualifications

  • An AAT Level 2 qualification or above is advantageous.

Experience

  • Experience within a similar role is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to use accounting software, e.g. Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and use own initiative.
  • IT literacy with Microsoft Office and Google software.
